Tobacco curing barns with barns with totally galvanised modular steel structure with polyurethane insulating sandwich panels.

Rack Barns:

Available sizes from 60 racks up to 360 rack (~500-3.000 Kgs dry tobacco/cure).

Box barns:

Available sizes from 8 big boxes racks up to 12 big boxes (~1.500 -2.500Kgs dry tobacco per cure)

Tobacco curing barns with Indirect firing in:

– completely stainless steel high efficiency combustion chamber and heat exchanger with pressure burner or

– hot water heating coil getting hot water from a boiler firing biomass.(wood,coal,pellets, olive kernel etc) .

The lowest fuel consumption than any other barn worldwide.

1. – Combustion products thrown outside the barn to ensure perfect leaf quality.
2. – Completely automatic Fuel oil, LPG, Natural gas burner or hot water heating system.
3. – High efficiency centrifugal or axial fan for low electrical consumption specially designed to supply the barn with the correct air quantity during the different curing stages.
4. – No need for manual air supply regulation
5. – Absolutely uniform air distribution and flow.
6. – Automatic servocontrolled fresh air damper
7. – Totally galvanised racks or boxes

Completely automatic Smart Curing Control ( computer) with data transmission and Internet & smart phone access.

Tobacco curing barns are  designed so :

• – They can be extended whenever client wants to,by adding modules of 30 racks up to the maximum size
• – They can easily be converted from rack to box barn by simply removing central frame
• – They require minimum maintenance and services

VCU® Ventobacco Curing Unit

VCU® is our latest Compact Complete Curing Unit equipped with Computer Curing Controller, specially designed to fit almost all commercial and traditional tobacco curing barns and the Vencon designed farmer made brick barns.

VCU ® is an autonomous all galvanised and insulated compact group with totally stainless steel combustion chamber and heat exchanger or Hot water heating coil, high efficiency fan with IP55 motor, automatic Diesel or Gas burner , automatic Fresh Air Damper ready to be connected on any barn’s structure.

VCU® is automatically controlling barn’s air recirculation, burner’s and fresh air intake damper’s operation, rate of temperature increase, ΔT, humidity decrease and several other factors ensuring a perfect cure.

Available in 5 sizes, from 400 to 3.000 Kgs dry leaf per cure.

Bigger VCUs can be made according to customer’s demand.
