Test conditions:

1. Burner’s capacities adjusted according to Manual (for the different barn’s sizes).

2. Burner’s air damper adjusted for 15-20% excessive air (2.5 – 3 % O2 in exhaust gases) which is considered optimum for good efficiency, low emissions & safe operation.

3. Burner’s head adjusted according to Manual (or positions 3 to 4)

NET EFFICIENCY & GAS EMISSIONS

MEASURED in the U.S.A. during Curing season (2000)

with appropriate Gas pressure, Air damper & Head adjustment

CO = 0 ppm

CO2 = 12-12.5% for LPG (propane) fuel

10-10.8% for Natural Gas fuel

NO = 45-85 ppm for LPG (propane) fuel

40-60 ppm for Natural Gas fuel

EFFICIENCY OF BURNER & HEAT EXCHANGER

(with properly adjusted burner)

NET : 90%-94%

GROSS: 85%-81%

Flue gas temperature 350-530o F max with D.B. temp. 85-100o F

Note : gas analysis is taken with the burner well adjusted and at normal operation (not while starting or stopping).
