Ventobacco V2K is a CURING CONTROL designed to precisely control Burner’s operation during the Curing cycle. It can operate on any barn and retrofit Heat Exchanger supplied with 120 or 220 Volts A.C.
It is built in a plastic casing ~6" x 3" x 3" deep and delivered with a steel mounting bracket to use in case of absence of appropriate electrical box.
It can be mounted :
a) without the bracket on any Electrical box of appropriate size (cutting a hole 5 ?" x 2 ?" on its front) or
b) with the bracket, on the front or on top of barn’s electrical panel or directly on a barn’s sidewall protected from rain, water drops from condensation and vibrations.
Ventobacco V2Kdisplays continuously :
The Dry Bulb temp. set (limit) that the Operator sets.
The Actual Dry Bulb temp. reading at the lower and upper barn’s part, (before and after the tobacco) where the two sensors are positioned.
The Temperature Advance (TA) in o F per hour that the Operator sets.
By pressing see float Operator can also see where is the “floating" temperature at that moment.
“Floating" temp. is the D.B. temperature that V2K has automatically set at that moment, as D.B. temp. advances to reach the D.B. set limit.
How V2K operates
TO START a new Curing Cycle
Press and keep pressed START button for about 10 sec till you see “New float……" on the display. (You will first see Display showing “START NEW PRG. 10", then 9", 8" etc. till “New float ……") appears. Now your V2K control has got the order to START (i.e. “floating" temperature has been adjusted to the actual barn’s D.B. temperature where from it will start increasing at the set Temperature Advance rate to reach the D.B. set Limit).
Press SET button once.
D.B. set limit will start blinking. Now you can set your D.B. temp. where you want it to go
(i.e. 100 o F) by pressing + to increase – to decrease the value. Press SET button again.
Temp. Advance will start blinking.
Now you can set the Temperature Advance (i.e. 1 o F/hr)
After 5 sec without pressing any button D.B. set limit and or T.A. displays will stop blinking.
The displays now will show operator’s settings on D.B. set limit & T.A. and the actual temperatures in the barn.
Dry Bulb set limit (i.e. 100 o F) set by operator
Dry Bulb lower temp. (i.e. 87 o F) actual in the barn
Dry Bulb upper temp. (i.e. 84 o F) actual in the barn
Temperature Advance (i.e. 1 o F/hr) set by operator.
